Inside the Bubble - An FP Slideshow

China bears have long warned of a housing bubble; 2012 could be the year that they're proven right. The Guardian reported on Sept. 28 that in a survey of China's largest cities, year-on-year prices rose in all but two urban centers, with 10 major cities showing price gains of 10 percent or more. In an FP article, contributor Roseann Lake looks at the cultural pressure on men to become homeowners, which has helped drive prices across big Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai to record highs.
